Charities Manager, W.Bro. \u00a0Darren Coleman-Heald, Prov.G.S.D. \u00a0spent a convivial evening \u00a0with the Brethren of the Seymour Lodge of M.M.M. No. \u00a0606 in the Provincial of Warwickshire at the invitation of the Worshipful Master, Paul Rowlands, Prov.A.G.D.C.<\/p>

At the meeting, \u00a0held in Leamington Spa, W.Bro. \u00a0Darren was delighted as always to talk about the wonderful work of the Mark Benevolent Fund and give real time updates on applications and projects under consideration. He was also able to give an update on the Woodland House neo-natal bereavement unit at the Birmingham Women\u2019s \u00a0and Children\u2019s Hospital, which is due to open \u00a0its doors \u00a0in January 2024. A grant of \u00a3100,000 to the unit has paid for the counselling rooms in this all-important centre \u2013 a first in the UK.<\/p>

W.Bro. \u00a0Darren was also joined\u00a0 by the Deputy Prov.G.M., \u00a0W.Bro. \u00a0Andrew Armbrister, Prov.G.J.D. and Assistant W.Bro. \u00a0Nigel Clemson, OStJ<\/em>, Prov.G.S.D. \u00a0from the Province of Warwickshire, the Provincial Grand Master for Staffordshire and Shropshire, R.W.Bro. Kevin Spencer \u00a0and his Assistant, W.Bro. \u00a0Dennis Hill, Prov.G.J.D. along with many other Brethren congratulated W.Bro. \u00a0Paul Rowlands, Prov.A.G.D.C. \u00a0once again, for occupying \u00a0the R.A.M. and Mark chairs and for his exemplary rendition of the Royal Ark Mariner tracing board in its entirety. It was quite something to hear.<\/p>
