Howe and Athol Lodge of MMM T.I. advancement of two new members

The recent gathering of the Howe and Athol Lodge of Mark Master Masons TI was more than a mere meeting; it was a profound celebration of continuity and commitment. The evening served as a dual tribute—firstly, to the remarkable service of W Bro Roger Bailey, and secondly, to the enduring memory of Baz through the inaugural journey of the Traveling Keystone.

A poignant highlight of the evening was the Provincial Grand Master, R.W. Bro. Andrew R. Armbrister a personal tribute to W Bro Roger Bailey. Celebrating 32 years of dedicated service to Mark Masonry, Roger stands as the “Fathers” of the Howe and Athol Lodge. His three decades of wisdom and stability have been the bedrock of the Lodge, embodying the very craftsmanship the Mark degree seeks to instil in its members.

The Lodge’s future looks as bright as its past, marked by the advancement of two new members. As these brethren took their first steps, the Traveling Keystone was formally received from Remembrance Lodge. This symbolic stone acts as a physical bridge between Lodges, designed to foster unity and ensure that the values Baz cherished—fellowship, charity, and mutual support—circulate throughout the Province.

The Keystone is not meant to sit idle. Its purpose is to encourage visiting and strengthen the “bonds of fellowship” across different jurisdictions. Typically, the Keystone is claimed by the Lodge that brings the largest delegation of visitors to the current host, ensuring Baz’s legacy continues to inspire “unity and connection” wherever it travels.
