The Three Chains Challenge 150 Charity Walk in 30 days

The Provincial Executive of the Mark Province of Warwickshire is stepping up—literally—to celebrate a historic milestone, and we need your support!

To mark the Sesquicentenary of Provincial Mark Masonry in Warwickshire, the three Chains—the Provincial Grand Master Andrew R. Armbrister, the Deputy Provincial Grand Master Howard L. Smith, and the Assistant Provincial Grand Master Ian Belsham, Assistant —are launching the 150 for 150 Chains Challenge.

Starting on 24th September and running through to 24th October 2026, each member of the Executive has pledged to walk a minimum of 150 miles in 30 days. That is a combined distance of 450 miles across our local communities to honour 150 years of Mark Masonry in our Province.

Adding a personal touch to the endeavour, the Provincial Grand Master will also undertake an extra individual challenge: a solo sponsored walk from his home directly to the Aloft Hotel in Birmingham. The exact date for this flagship trek will be confirmed shortly.

Every step taken and every mile completed is aimed at raising vital funds for our MBF 2026 Festival Total. We invite all Brethren, family, and friends to rally behind the Chains as they lace up their walking boots.

Whether you can make a small individual donation or help spread the word among your Lodges, your encouragement will make every mile count. Please support us if you are able and help us make this 150th Anniversary year our most successful Festival yet!
