Bro. Matt Markham is Running in the London Marathon for Warwickshire’s MBF Festival 2027
Bro. Matt has made some wise decisions in recent years – he was Advanced into Silhill Lodge of MMM No 972 in January 2023; he is training to be a train driver, and he’s decided to run in this year’s London Marathon on Sunday 21st April! His own physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health will benefit from these changes. However, Matt has also decided to run the marathon wearing a Mark Benevolent Fund (MBF) vest, and hopes to raise a lot of money for Warwickshire’s Appeal for the MBF Festival 2027.
We can all be proud of the great things the MBF has done with our charitable donations – locally, nationally and internationally. Send me an email if you haven’t heard the list of grants made in the last couple of years!
Matt is putting in the effort, and now it’s down to us to support him and the MBF. He will be running 26 miles and 385 yards (or 42.195 km), so the least we can do is sponsor him for all his hard work and determination.
