On 1st August Shakespeare Lodge of Royal Ark Mariners, which usually meets in Warwick, visited Coventry to elevate three candidates from the Coventry Lodge of Mark Master Masons.
It was a rare and exciting occasion, as three candidates from the Coventry Lodge of Mark Master Masons were elevated into the Royal Ark Mariners, a degree that explores the story of Noah and the Flood.
Coventry Mark doesnโt have its own Royal Ark Mariner Lodge moored to it, so Shakespeare stepped in give them the opportunity of joining this beautiful degree which explores the story of Noah and the Flood.
Worshipful Commander Paul Fernandez-Montes was ably assisted by Paul Rowlands and Martin Grahame Dunn as the Wardens, and a mix of Lodge members and Provincial Officers in the other offices, in performing an unusual Triple Elevation.
Despite the fact that there was no Royal Ark Mariner Lodge in Coventry, the candidates were not discouraged from joining. Thanks to the Shakespeare Lodge, which stepped in to provide this unique opportunity, they were able to participate and have a memorable experience.
The atmosphere was filled with excitement as none of those present had ever seen a triple done before. The evening was a huge success, and everyone enjoyed it immensely.
To top things off, the brethren gathered for a festive board where they enjoyed a mouth-watering meal and exchanged warm fraternal greetings. It was a wonderful opportunity for everyone to bond, share stories, and create lasting memories.
All in all, it was an exceptional evening that exceeded everyone’s expectations.
