M.M.H. Charities Manager got to Say More at Seymour in Leamington Spa
Charities Manager, W.Bro. Darren Coleman-Heald, Prov.G.S.D. spent a convivial evening with the Brethren of the Seymour Lodge of M.M.M. No. 606 in the Provincial of Warwickshire at the invitation of the Worshipful Master, Paul Rowlands, Prov.A.G.D.C.
At the meeting, held in Leamington Spa, W.Bro. Darren was delighted as always to talk about the wonderful work of the Mark Benevolent Fund and give real time updates on applications and projects under consideration. He was also able to give an update on the Woodland House neo-natal bereavement unit at the Birmingham Women’s and Children’s Hospital, which is due to open its doors in January 2024. A grant of £100,000 to the unit has paid for the counselling rooms in this all-important centre – a first in the UK.
W.Bro. Darren was also joined by the Deputy Prov.G.M., W.Bro. Andrew Armbrister, Prov.G.J.D. and Assistant W.Bro. Nigel Clemson, OStJ, Prov.G.S.D. from the Province of Warwickshire, the Provincial Grand Master for Staffordshire and Shropshire, R.W.Bro. Kevin Spencer and his Assistant, W.Bro. Dennis Hill, Prov.G.J.D. along with many other Brethren congratulated W.Bro. Paul Rowlands, Prov.A.G.D.C. once again, for occupying the R.A.M. and Mark chairs and for his exemplary rendition of the Royal Ark Mariner tracing board in its entirety. It was quite something to hear.
Thank you all for your kind comments and for the amazing collection at the Festive Board raising a staggering
£565 for the Mark Benevolent Fund and the 2027 Warwickshire MBF Festival.
