Mark Benevolent Fund presented a cheque for £25,000 to the Warwickshire and Solihull Blood Bikes Group
On the 21st July Right Worshipful Brother Andrew Armbrister the Provincial Grand Master of Warwickshire and a Trustee of the Mark Benevolent Fund presented a cheque for £25,000 to the Warwickshire and Solihull Blood Bikes Group at Alderson House Warwick, the home of the Warwick Masonic Temple. This cheque being part of the £750,000 grant made to the Blood Bikes groups nationally.
The Warwickshire group have used the grant to purchase an all-wheel drive Kia Sportage. The vehicle having now been fully livered and bearing the Mark Benevolent Fund and Mark Masons Degree Rondels has proved extremely popular and useful to the group having already clocked up over 18,000 miles.
The Warwickshire and Solihull group cover an extensive area stretching from deep in the city of Birmingham to the rural areas of south Warwickshire including the Air Ambulance base at Coventry Airport. Right Worshipful Brother was accompanied by Worshipful Brother Nigel Clemson the Provincial Charity Steward, Worshipful Brother Gorden Ferguson the Provincial Senior Wardn and Worshipful Brother Sebastion Samperi he Provinces Web Master.
Receiving the cheque are Ms Chrissie Smith the Groups Chair, Mr Tim Crey the Group treasurer and Mr John Smith one of the groups Motorcyclists.
